At one point in time minorities didn't have access or even rights to be or do anything they wanted, but with time came change. So when I hear people complaining about "white privilege" I just want to laugh in their faces because to me you complaining about something like that just shows your zero drive in life to do anything or accomplish anything so you have to blame it on something and use it as a crutch. In life you are not granted anything, and the world doesn't owe you anything or any favors no matter what color you are. Whether you want to believe it or not white people live in poverty, a rough 29.8 million actually, yet according to many we have all the privileges this country offers over anyone else lol. Life is not a video game or fairy tale where everyone starts at the same point and has equal access to everything life offers, life is unfair and brutal and only you can determine your fate. There are so many people of color who have come out of rough situations and made something of themselves, Oprah Winfrey, P Diddy, Morgan Freeman (the man), Viola Davis, Tyler Perry, Chris Gardner who is my all time favorite example that the movie Pursuit of Happiness was based off of. There are colored doctors, nurses, lawyers, all who worked hard and made something of themselves while there are some white people who maybe never had the chance to go to college or don't even have a job. I've said it before and I'll state it again, if you live in America you are privileged, you have access and the ultimate freedom to do, and be anything you want and no one can take that from you unless you let them. It's time we start instilling in future generations as well that your misfortunes are not at the hand of someone else who is a different color than you. Let's realize we can accomplish anything with hard work, by taking responsibility and doing something amazing with your life. Don't be a loser and don't raise losers.
