A Question for white ppl ?when u embrace those kind of rhythms do u feel African?ur ppl demonise African religions while under the table u embrace it,do u imagine what ur ancestors did ?bc It's funny how 300 years ago black ppl were kidnapped by White ppl to be slaves ,now today we see the exactly generation not other but the same white Ppl learning black "African "culture that one day they killed ppl if they practiced it ,now they r learning it and some white Ppl already claiming Afro culture ,some neglect that the culture of South America has nothing to do w Africa.Black ppl so humble never hold grudges always sharing they rich culture,And again tomorrow white ppl will say that was brought by our white ancestors from Europe.Smh #africaisthegreatestghostwritterofalltime #africanculture #afrocubanos #afrolatinos #afrobrasil #rumba #salsadancing #nigeria #brasil #samba #vemdancarkuduro #kuduro#kizomba #donbolo #rdcongo #facts#fact #hiphop #eminem #blackculture #culture #internet #dance #musically #music

Damm #neverforget when Newcastle footballer Papiss Cisse has left his on-off girlfriend heartbroken after telling her he was going on holiday only to marry a volleyball player three days later. #RachelleGraham, 24, a beauty queen and former Miss Newcastle, says last week she said goodbye to the Senegalese striker, 30, believing he was off to spend a month in his homeland. But after he failed to return her texts she became worried and went online, finding a picture of her love's wedding to sportswoman Diallo Awa, 29, at a yacht club outside Paris.

A London dentist stopped looking in other peopleโ€™s mouths and started opening his own. The results may be something for everyone to chew on. Eugene Gamble spent most of his career as a dentist in London, quietly and diligently working on peopleโ€™s teeth. Then, three years ago, he decided to give up his lifeโ€™s work to become an entrepreneur. There was just one problem: he was no good at business. As his ideas failed, his confidence plunged. He could have gone back into dentistry but he was determined to succeed in the business world. So, he hired a business coach who gave him an odd piece of advice. โ€œHe told me speak out loud,โ€ says Gamble, who helps wealthy people invest in residential real estate. Thatโ€™s right. He was instructed to talk to himself. โ€œIt was weird, because it was something new to me,โ€ he says. โ€œI didnโ€™t believe that it could work, but once I tried it โ€“ it made perfect sense.โ€ Talking to ourselves may seem strange because we tend to associate speaking out loud to nobody in particular as a sign of mental illness. However, thereโ€™s a growing body of research to indicate that self-talk can help memory recall, confidence, focus and more. โ€œItโ€™s not an irrational thing to do,โ€ says Gary Lupyan, an associate professor of psychology at the University of Wisconsin, who has studied how hearing ourselves speak can impact our memories. โ€œYou donโ€™t know everything youโ€™re going to say โ€“ you can even surprise yourself.โ€ His work, which is one of the most cited studies in this field, had people look at objects on a computer screen. Some had to say the name of the item out loud, while others were instructed to remain silent and keep the word in their head. The result? The ones who said the word out loud were able to locate the objects on the screen more quickly. #motivation #motivational #brainactivity #facts #fact #dentist #london #education #didyouknowfacts #didyouknow #unknownfacts #unknown #sucess #success #society #socialissues #richpeople #richpeopleproblems

The homeless woman was invited into the officer's car at a Marathon gas station. Under the guise of a john, the officer told her he 'wanted to get [his] d*** sucked.' SWP left ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸฟWow ๐Ÿ˜ณ isn't the same ppl who removed #presidenttadilma.Violence has erupted in Brazil at the end of the country's first general strike in more than 20 years. Buses and cars have been set on fire in Rio de Janeiro's city centre. Road blocks set up by activists were also ablaze and shops were vandalised. For most of the day the strike had been largely peaceful. Many people stayed at home and shops, schools and banks remained closed across the country. Unions called the strike in protest at proposed pension reforms. President Michel Temer said he regretted the incidents in Rio. But he stressed that he would continue his "efforts to modernise the country". Brazilian workers and the government are working together, he said, to get the country out of "the worst recession in its history." The trade unions say the poorest in Brazil will bear the cost of the changes, which include raising retirement age and reducing benefits. The government argues that the measures are needed to avoid a collapse of the pension system. The effects of the strike were felt across the country, Many people stayed at home, others only worked in the morning. Many roads were blocked in Sao Paulo, Rio and other cities. Early in the evening, opposition demonstrators took part in rallies and protests to show their discontentment with Mr Temer's pension reform. In Rio, some of the protests descended into violence. Police fired tear gas and activist hurled stones. Eight buses were set alight, according to O Globo newspaper. In Brazil's largest city, Sao Paulo, thousands of demonstrators marched on Mr Temer's private residence. Police fired teargas to disperse the crowd. The government said the general strike would have no impact on the reforms. Earlier this week Mr Temer won a parliamentary vote supporting his labour reforms by a clear margin. This has been the hallmark of his administration: a president who is very unpopular in the streets, but is able to get things done in Congress, says the BBC's Daniel Gallas in Sao Paulo. Mr Temer took office a year ago, when then-President Dilma Rousseff was suspended by Congress to face impeachment proceedings.

#Turkey has blocked all access inside the country to the online #encyclopaedia #Wikipedia. Officials said "an administrative measure" had been taken, but gave no reason why. Turkish media said authorities had asked Wikipedia to remove content by writers "supporting terror". Turkey has temporarily #blocked #socialmedia sites including Facebook and Twitter in the past, usually following #protests or terror attacks. The Turkey Blocks monitoring group said Wikipedia was unreachable from 08:00 (05:00 GMT). People in Istanbul were unable to access any pages without using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). โ–  #Switzerland investigates Turkey #spying claims โ–  Turkey blocks web drives after leak โ–  Wikipedia founder creates news service "After technical analysis and legal consideration based on the Law Nr. 5651 [governing the internet], an administrative measure has been taken for this website," Turkey's Information and Communication #technologies #Authority was quoted as saying, giving no further details. However, the Hurriyet daily #newspaper said Wikipedia had been asked to remove content by certain writers whom the authorities accuse of "supporting #terror" and of linking Turkey to terror groups. The site had not responded to the demands, Hurriyet said, and the ban was imposed as a result. Turkey Blocks and #Turkish media, including Hurriyet, said the provisional order would need to be backed by a full court ruling in the next few days. Another day, another outage - by Mark Lowen, BBC Turkey Correspondent It's become all too familiar here: the endless "loading" icon followed by the message "server timed out". Africa will never be let alone ,That's Why they creat #africom a group of military men all over the continent to steal and control the natural resources.French nuclear giant Areva was solely responsible for a controversial $320m (ยฃ250m) uranium deal, a parliamentary investigation in Niger has said. The 2011 deal, known as "uranium-gate", involved companies in Niger and abroad. Activists have begun legal proceedings. It caused an uproar after a local paper said it had served as cover for officials to embezzle public funds. The report did not find any evidence of wrongdoing by any officials. Areva says it cannot comment on the report. The French company says it has not yet received the report. It has previously said it was co-operating with a French investigation into the case. Niger is one of the world's biggest uranium producers and the metal is the country's largest export. โ–  BBC Africa Live: More on this and other news updates. Opposition parties say the report has been botched and lacks integrity. They say that two of their lawmakers who were part of the group which led the inquiry were not associated in drafting the document. Last month, activists in Niger started legal action into the deal, saying they feared the parliamentary investigation would lead to a whitewash. Their complaint alleges embezzlement of public funds, money laundering, forgery and conspiracy to defraud. According to the parliamentary inquiry: "A transaction took place indeed between Sopamin [a local mining company], Areva and other international partners." "The uranium used in that transaction is not uranium from Niger. The money transferred to [a bank account] in Dubai to fund the transaction is neither money of the state of Niger nor of Sopamin - it is Areva's money." The on-going legal action centres on the allegation that Areva in 2011 bought a stock of uranium from Niger at a discounted price, causing the national treasury to lose money. 'Trading operation' Areva used the transaction to provide funds requested by Niger to secure uranium sites in the north against militant attacks, the report said. Niger's uranium mines are located in the Sahel region south of the Sahara Desert

Wowed ๐Ÿ˜ณ We ain't that same apparently The DNA of extinct humans can be retrieved from sediments in caves - even in the absence of skeletal remains. Researchers found the genetic material in sediment samples collected from seven archaeological sites. The remains of ancient humans are often scarce, so the new findings could help scientists learn the identity of inhabitants at sites where only artefacts have been found. The results are described in Science. Antonio Rosas, a scientist at Spain's Natural Science Museum in Madrid, said: "This work represents an enormous scientific breakthrough. "We can now tell which species of hominid occupied a cave and on which particular stratigraphic level, even when no bone or skeletal remains are present." "We know that several components of sediments can bind DNA," said lead researcher Matthias Meyer of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany. "We therefore decided to investigate whether hominin DNA may survive in sediments at archaeological sites known to have been occupied by ancient hominins." The team collaborated with researchers excavating at seven dig sites in Belgium, Croatia, France, Russia and Spain. They collected sediment samples covering a time span from 14,000 to 550,000 years ago. Back in the lab, they fished out tiny fragments of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) - genetic material from the mitochondria, which act as the "powerhouses" of biological cells. Even sediment samples that had been stored at room temperature for years yielded DNA. Dr Meyer and his team members were able to identify the DNA of various animals belonging to 12 mammalian families, including extinct species such as the woolly mammoth, woolly rhinoceros, cave bear and cave hyena. The scientists looked specifically for DNA from ancient humans in the samples. "From the preliminary results, we suspected that in most of our samples, DNA from other mammals was too abundant to detect small traces of human DNA," said co-author Viviane Slon, from the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig, Germany. "We then switched strategies and started targeting specifically DNA fragments of human

An Italian woman is accused of faking a pregnancy and then giving back the baby she bought, after finding out the child was mixed race. The 35-year-old is accused of paying 20,000 euros ($21,800; ยฃ16,800) for the baby girl. She has been arrested along with the child's biological mother and a Moroccan man who allegedly helped broker the deal. Surrogacy is illegal in Italy, and attracts prison time and heavy fines. The "fake" mother is said to have told police she wore a decoy latex belly bought online to trick her friends and family. Italian press reports said her partner was in prison for drug trafficking, and that she had recently suffered two miscarriages. The baby's biological mother, a 25-year-old Romanian woman, reportedly fell pregnant after a short relationship with a man from Mali. When she learned about the baby's race, the Italian woman is said to have realised she would not be able to explain the child's skin colour. After just three days, reports say, she gave the baby back. โ–  Q&A: Surrogate babies โ–  Surrogacy like sex crime, says minister โ–  'I will give anything to see my baby' Suspicions were first raised in February at the registry office in the city of Latina, south of Rome, when a woman asked how to register a baby that had been born at home. When nobody returned to register the child, officials got in touch - but are said to have received evasive answers. Fearing something was amiss, they flagged the case up to police. Investigators found the baby girl in a healthy state with her biological father, who works in Rome. She is now just over a month old, and has been placed in foster care.

Swp๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฟ... #IlieNastase has apologised for comments he made about #SerenaWilliams' unborn child, but says his outburst during Romania's Fed Cup win over #GreatBritain was "exaggerated". Williams accused Nastase of racism after he was overheard asking if the child would be "chocolate with milk?". Nastase, 70, a former world number one, said his reaction was "spontaneous". But the #romaniacaptain also criticised GB's Johanna Konta, who was left in tears after his outburst on #Saturday. Nastase, a two-time Grand Slam champion, made the remarks about the #Americanworld number one's unborn #childbefore the #FedCup tie. The #InternationalTennisFederation (ITF) has launched an #investigation. Apologising for his comments about #Williams, he added: "I really respect Serena. She is one of the greatest tennis players of all time and I know how much work is behind these results. "At that press conference, I was asked about Serena's pregnancy. That was the first time I had heard about her #pregnancy, and my reaction was spontaneous." "I am fully aware that nothing can truly excuse my statements - not the tension of a high-stakes game, not my traditionally irreverent attitude, not the unfortunate escalation of the situation. "Unfortunately, now, in my 70s, I have somehow managed to do something I have never wanted or even imagined: to feel #tennismoving further away from me." 'The past few days have been difficult for me' In Konta's Fed #Cup match against #SoranaCirstea on Saturday, Nastase was sent off after swearing at the umpire and abusing Konta and her captain #AnneKeothavong. He was banned from the tie and later handed a provisional suspension by the ITF. "What happened in Constanta has been exaggerated by all," he said. He added that he had spoken to the umpire in a "civilized manner" and did not understand why the match was suspended, adding that Konta should not have spoken to the umpire. "The past few days have been difficult for me," he continued. #facts #racism #serenawilliams #redit #sports #facts

Google and Facebook have confirmed that they fell victim to an alleged $100m (ยฃ77m) scam. In March, it was reported that a #Lithuanian man had been charged over an email phishing attack against "two US-based internet companies" who were not named at the time. They had allegedly been tricked into wiring more than $100m to the alleged scammer's bank accounts. On 27 April, Fortune reported that the two victims were Facebook and Google. The man accused of being behind the scam, Evaldas Rimasauskas, 48, allegedly posed as an Asia-based manufacturer and deceived the companies from at least 2013 until 2015. " #fraudulentphishing emails were sent to employees and agents of the victim companies, which regularly conducted multimillion-dollar transactions with [the Asian] company," the US Department of Justice (DOJ) said in March. These emails purported to be from employees of the Asia-based firm, the DOJ alleged, and were sent from email accounts designed to look like they had come from the company, but in fact had not. The DOJ also accused Mr Rimasauskas of forging invoices, contracts and letters "that falsely appeared to have been executed and signed by executives and agents of the victim companies". "We detected this fraud against our vendor management team and promptly alerted the authorities," a #spokeswoman for Google said in a statement. "We recouped the funds and we're pleased this matter is resolved." However, the firm did not reveal how much money it had transferred and recouped. Nor did Facebook - but a spokeswoman said: "Facebook recovered the bulk of the funds shortly after the incident and has been cooperating with #lawenforcement in its investigation." Big firms targeted "Sometimes staff [at large firms] think that they are defended, that security isn't part of their job," said James Maude at cyber-security firm Avecto, commenting on the phishing threat facing big companies. #facebook#facebookpage #facebooklive #facebookmarketing #google #googleplay #googlemaps #scam #scammers #scammersbelike #scammer #scammeralert #police #online #internet #facts
