“And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.” ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭6:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

May 28, 1967 - Glen Rice is born in Flint, Michigan. Happy 50th Birthday Glen Rice! Rice played college basketball for the University of Michigan Wolverines for four seasons (1985–1989), a starter for three of those seasons. He became the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,442 points. He led Michigan to the 1989 NCAA Men's Division I basketball championship, scoring an NCAA-record 184 points in tournament play, a record that still stands. Rice was also voted the tournament's Most Outstanding Player and was part of the Associated Press All-America second-team, after averaging 25.6 points for the season, while shooting 58% from the floor and 52% from three-point range. After Rice's junior year, he was invited to try out for the 1988 United States Olympic basketball team, but was cut before reaching the group of 48. On February 20, 2005, Rice's No. 41 jersey was retired during a ceremony at Michigan's Crisler Arena. Rice made the cover of Sports Illustrated on April 10, 1989. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #GlenRice #wolverines #AnnArbor #universityofmichigan #bigten #NCAA #Michigan #JimHarbaugh #chryslerarena #nicekicks #SoleCollector #SneakerNews #Maranatha #116 #1967 #Romans116 #john316 #NBA #FIBA #bball #Basketball #ChristIsKing #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 28, 1938 - Jerry West is born in Chelyan, West Virginia. Happy 79th Birthday Jerry West! In 2002, West became general manager of the Memphis Grizzlies. He explained his decision with the desire for exploring something new: "After being a part of the Lakers success for so many years, I have always wondered how it would be to build a winning franchise that has not experienced much success. I want to help make a difference." West's Memphis stint was not as spectacular as his Los Angeles stint, but he turned a franchise which was about to be sold into a reliable playoffs team, practically making no trades but getting the maximum from the players he had available (e.g. Pau Gasol, James Poseyand Jason Williams) and signing coach Hubie Brown, who became Coach of the Year in 2004. West himself won his second NBA Executive of the Year Award in the same year. At age 69, West retired as a Grizzlies general manager in 2007 and turned over managing duties to Chris Wallace, from Buckhannon, West Virginia. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #jerrywest #WestVirginia #lakers #lalakers #Grizzlies #Warriors #BealeStreet #PauGasol #memphisgrizzlies #nicekicks #SoleCollector #SneakerNews #Maranatha #116 #1938 #Romans116 #john316 #NBA #FIBA #bball #Basketball #ChristIsKing #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 28, 1938 - Jerry West is born in Chelyan, West Virginia. Happy 79th Birthday Jerry West! West’s NBA career was highly successful. Playing the guard position as a professional, he was voted 12 times into the All-NBA First and Second Teams, was elected into the NBA All-Star Team 14 times, and was chosen as the All-Star MVP in 1972, the same year that he won the only title of his career. West holds the NBA record for the highest points per game average in a playoff series with 46.3. He was also a member of the first five NBA All-Defensive Teams (one second, followed by four firsts), which were introduced when he was 32 years old. Having played in nine NBA Finals, he is also the only player in NBA history to be named Finals MVP despite being on the losing team (1969). West was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980 and voted as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history in 1996. After his playing career, West was head coach of the Lakers for three years, leading Los Angeles into the playoffs each year and earning a Western Conference Finals berth once. Working as a player-scout for three years, West was named general manager of the Lakers prior to the 1982–83 NBA season. Under his reign, Los Angeles won six championship rings. In 2002, West became general manager of the Memphis Grizzlies and helped the franchise win their first-ever playoff berths. For his contributions, West won the NBA Executive of the Year Award twice, once as a Lakers manager (1995) and then as a Grizzlies manager (2004). West's son, Jonnie, played college basketball for the West Virginia Mountaineers team. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #jerrywest #WestVirginia #lakers #lalakers #staplescenter #Warriors #44 #magicjohnson #KobeBryant #nicekicks #SoleCollector #SneakerNews #Maranatha #116 #1938 #Romans116 #john316 #NBA #FIBA #bball #Basketball #ChristIsKing #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #ReignIsComing #praisechrist

Benjamin was accused by Timothy Mcgee for supposedly 'stealing' his idea of the show. He has also worked with Esthero on a promotional version of "Jungle Book" which was on a Wikked lil' grrrlssampler, but never made it to the actual album due to issues with Esthero's label, Warner Bros.. May 27, 1967 - Doug West is born in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Happy 50th Birthday Doug West! A 6'7" shooting guard/small forward from Villanova University, West was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 1989 NBA Draft. An athletic, well-rounded player who could score as well as defend, West became a regular starter for the Timberwolves during the 1991-92 NBA season, in which he averaged 14.0 points per game, appeared in the Gatorade Slam Dunk Championship, and earned Timberwolves' Defensive Player of the Year Honors. The following season, he averaged a career high 19.3 points per game, and in 1995, he broke Tony Campbell's team-record 4,888 points to become the Timberwolves' all-time leading scorer (a distinction now held by Kevin Garnett). West was an "original" Timberwolf, being drafted by the team in its first year of existence. He was the last of the original roster to remain on the team. By the mid-1990s, injuries began to take their toll on West, and he was traded to the Vancouver Grizzlies in exchange for Anthony Peeler after the 1997-98 NBA season. West provided a veteran presence for the struggling young Grizzlies, but he saw very limited playing time, and he finally retired from the NBA in 2001. He had tallied career totals of 6,477 points, 1,670 rebounds, and 1,292 assists. West was named an assistant coach for the Villanova Wildcats, replacing Ed Pinckney on October 5, 2007. In 2012, West joined the coaching staff of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #DougWest #Villanova #Timberwolves #twolves #TargetCenter #minneapolis #Grizzlies #NikeBasketball #Altoona #nicekicks #SoleCollector #sneakernews #Maranatha #116 #1967 #faith #john316 #NBA #FIBA #bball #Basketball #ChristIsKing #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 27, 1967 - George McCloud was born in Daytona Beach, Florida. Happy 50th Birthday George McCloud! McCloud attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach and Florida State University in Tallahassee. McCloud was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the 1st round (7th overall) of the 1989 NBA Draft. The 6'6" guard–forward only averaged 5.5 points per game for the Pacers. He was released after four largely unproductive seasons in 1993, and was regarded as a draft bust. He was out of the league in 1993–94, but got a second chance in the NBA when he was signed by the Dallas Mavericks midway through the 1994–95 seasons, and made the most of his second opportunity, and went on to play a total of 12 years in the NBA from 1989 to 2002. In addition to the Pacers and Mavericks, McCloud also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets. McCloud's best year as a pro came during the 1995-96 season as a member of the Mavericks, appearing in 79 games and averaging 18.9 ppg while setting the NBA record for most 3-point attempts in a season. In his NBA career, McCloud played in 766 games and scored a total of 6,925 points. McCloud was a productive three point shooter throughout his career. At NBA All-Star Weekend in 1996, he appeared in the Three-point Shootout but lost in the semifinal round. McCloud has the second-highest total for three-point attempts in an NBA game, with 20 (making seven of them) in a game for the Dallas Mavericks against the New Jersey Nets on March 5, 1996. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #GeorgeMcCloud #fsu #seminoles #Tallahassee #Mavs #dallasmavs #Mavericks #Dallas #DirkNowitzki #nicekicks #SoleCollector #SneakerNews #Maranatha #116 #1967 #faith #john316 #NBA #FIBA #bball #Basketball #ChristIsKing #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 25, 1975 - The Golden State Warriors won their 3rd NBA Championship with a 96-95 win over the Washington Bullets. The series is notable as it was the first championship game or series in any of the four North American major professional sports leagues to feature two African American head coaches or managers, as Al Attles coached the Warriors and K.C. Jones coached the Bullets. On a lesser note, it was the first time that the NBA ever scheduled a game to be played in the month of June (Game Seven was scheduled for Monday Night, June 2). The first June game ever, however, would have to wait until the following year. The underdog Warriors won four close games in a row to earn a sweep over the Bullets. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #Warriors #GSW #oraclearena #rickbarry #norcal #BayArea #EasyBay #DubNation #oakland #1975 #jamaalwilkes #nicekicks #SoleCollector #SneakerNews #Maranatha #116 John316 #NBA #fiba #bball #Basketball #ChristIsKing #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 25, 1968 - Kendall Gill is born in Chicago, Illinois. Happy 49th Birthday Kendall Gill! Gill appeared on Season 1 Episode 1 of Nickelodeon's "My Brother and Me". The episode title "Charity" originally aired October 15, 1994. The show also featured former Orlando Magic small forward Dennis Scott as a coach, in the episode "Basketball Tryouts". The show made history as the network's first show featuring a predominantly black cast. Despite its popularity during its premiere, the series only lasted 13 episodes. Ralph Woolfolk explained in an interview that the show was canceled due to disagreements between the producers and creators of the show; a second season was planned but the two parties had different visions for the show that caused a major fallout. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #SoleCollector #nicekicks #SneakerNews #KendallGill #illini #flyinillini #UniversityOfIllinois #Hornets #CharlotteHornets #nickelodeon #MyBrotherAndMe #SuperSonics #Maranatha #116 #1968 #john316 #nba #fiba #Basketball #ChristIsKing #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 25, 1968 - Kendall Gill is born in Chicago, Illinois. Happy 49th Birthday Kendall Gill! January 19, 1996 Gill was traded by the Charlotte Hornets with Khalid Reeves to the New Jersey Nets for Kenny Anderson and Gerald Glass. Gill had the best year of his career scoring-wise with the Nets in 1996–97(21.8 ppg). In the 1998–99 NBA season, Gill led the league in steals as a member of the Nets. On April 3, 1999, he recorded 11 steals in a game against Miami, tying a single-game record set by Larry Kenon during the 1976–77 season. In this game, he also recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds for a rare Points-Rebounds-Steals triple double. In the 1999–00 season, he also made a half-court shot against the Orlando Magic that hit the top of the backboard and swished in the net. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #SoleCollector #nicekicks #SneakerNews #KendallGill #illini #flyinillini #UniversityOfIllinois #Nets #newjerseynets #BrooklynNets #BarclaysCenter #SuperSonics #Maranatha #116 #1968 #john316 #nba #Hornets #basketball #ChristIsKing #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 24, 1979 - Tracy McGrady is born in Bartow, Florida. Happy 38th Birthday Tracy McGrady! In 2007–08, the Rockets went on a 22-game winning streak, the fourth longest in NBA history, despite missing Yao Ming during that stretch. During their run, McGrady expressed optimism over the team's roster, admitting, "I haven't had this kind of trust in my teammates before." Houston finished the season as the West's fifth seed, earning them a rematch with the Jazz in the first round. By the time the playoffs arrived, McGrady was nursing shoulder and knee injuries, at times requiring him to receive pain-killing injections and have fluid drained from both his shoulder and knee in order for him to be able to play. The Jazz again eliminated the Rockets, this time in six games, despite a strong 40-point and 10-rebound performance from McGrady in the decisive Game 6. Following Houston's loss to Utah, McGrady underwent arthroscopic surgery on both his left shoulder and left knee. Early in the 2008–09 season, he missed 18 games, including a two-week stretch in January as his knee was not fully healed from his off-season surgery. On February 24, he had microfracture surgery in Chicago, forcing him to miss the remainder of the year. In a surprise turn of events, the Rockets qualified for the playoffs without McGrady and advanced to the second round, pushing the eventual-champion Los Angeles Lakers to seven games. In 2009–10, McGrady played in only six games for Houston. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #SoleCollector #nicekicks #SneakerNews #TMac #tracymcgrady #rockets #htown #toyotacenter #Astros #texans #HoustonRockets #YaoMing #Adidas #NBAPlayoffs #Maranatha #116 #1979 #john316 #nba #Basketball #ChristIsKing #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 24, 1979 - Tracy McGrady is born in Bartow, Florida. Happy 38th Birthday Tracy McGrady! Before the lockout-shortened 1998–99 season, the Raptors drafted McGrady's distant cousin Vince Carter. The two became inseparable; teammate Dee Brown once said, "They say they're cousins... But Siamese twins is more like it." By the 1999–00 season, the duo had developed a reputation for their athleticism, giving memorable performances at the All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest. McGrady, now playing significant minutes, was a contender for the Sixth Man of the Year Award before being elevated to Toronto's starting backcourt in late March. Behind McGrady and Carter's play, the Raptors finished the season with a 45-37 record, qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. For the year, McGrady averaged 15.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and a career-high 1.9 blocks per game. In the first round of the postseason, the Raptors were swept by the New York Knicks. Following Toronto's first-round exit, McGrady became a free agent, signing a six-year, $67.5 million contract with the Orlando Magic #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #SoleCollector #nicekicks #SneakerNews #TMac #tracymcgrady #Raptors #VinceCarter #TDot #The6 #torontoraptors #AirCanadaCentre #TheSix #Adidas #NBAPlayoffs #Maranatha #116 #1979 #john316 #nba #basketball #christisking #endtimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

At 6'3" (190 cm) Dumars could play either shooting guard or point guard on offense and was a highly effective defender. He played for the Detroit Pistons from 1985 until 1999. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Dumars and Isiah Thomas combined to form one of the best backcourts in NBA history. Initially a shooting guard, Dumars moved to point guard following Thomas' retirement in 1994, sharing ball-handling duties with Grant Hill. Dumars was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. Dumars served as the President of Basketball Operations for the Detroit Pistons from 2000 to 2014. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #SoleCollector #nicekicks #SneakerNews #joedumars #pistons #DetroitPistons #MoTown #MotorCity #DominiqueWilkins #CharlesBarkley #IsaiahThomas #DetroitBasketball #Maranatha #116 #1963 #john316 #nba #fiba #bball #Basketball #ChristIsKing #faith #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist

May 24, 1963 - Joe Dumars is born in Shreveport, Louisiana. Happy 54th Birthday Joe Dumars! Dumars' mother, Ophelia, was a custodian at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches while his father, Joe (Big Joe), was a truck driver. Dumars grew up in an athletic family, but basketball was not his favorite sport as a child. Football was more popular in the region and all five of his brothers were defensive standouts at Natchitoches Central High School. His brother David later played professional football in the USFL. Dumars followed in his brothers’ footsteps playing defensive back on the football team until junior high school when a big hit on the field directed him toward basketball. Big Joe built a hoop, made of an old bicycle wheel and half of a wooden door, in the Dumars' backyard where young Joe spent hours practicing his jump shot. During his four years at McNeese State University, Dumars averaged 22.5 points per game, including 25.8 ppg as a senior – good for sixth in the nation. He finished his college career as the 11th leading scorer in NCAA history. Drafted 18th overall in the first round of the 1985 NBA draft, he played guard for the Detroit Pistons for his entire career, from 1985 to 1999. #JesusIsComing #JesusSaves #TeamJesus #SoleCollector #nicekicks #SneakerNews #JoeDumars #pistons #DetroitPistons #MoTown #MotorCity #McNeeseState #burtoncoliseum #IsaiahThomas #DetroitBasketball #Maranatha #116 #1963 #john316 #nba #fiba #bball #Basketball #ChristIsKing #faith #EndTimes #WakeUp #YHWH #reigniscoming #praisechrist
